Each picture represents one agraharam.

The agraharams were spread across the amalgamated areas that included today's Palakkad, Perinthalmanna, Ponnani, Ottappalam, Alathur and Chittoor. Todays district borders may be far different from the time when the agraharams were setup by the migrating brahmins.
